The “Casa di Nora” bed & breackfast is located in an historical building in Formia’s main street.
The b&b is located on the first floor of the building and it is served by lift.
It has been entirely refurbished in 2018 including the installation of new state of the art windows.
The b&b has three spacious double bedrooms with private bathrooms.
A freshly prepared breackfast is served every day by the host Silvia in a big communal area decorated with stylish fornitures.
The house has also a big terrace equipped with a gazebo, tables and chairs for the guests to enjoy their breackfast outdoor.

Every room has its own pastel color that is also beautifully reflected in their private bathrooms.

Iris
Iris is light blue and has a spacious balcony facing the main street.
The room facilities are a double bed, a sofa bed and a private bathroom.
Primula
Primula is green and illuminted by a large opening facing the communical terrace where the guests can have their breakfast.
It has a double bed and private bathroom.
Glicine
Glicine is light pink similarly to the so called flower (wisteria) and it is divided into two areas with two large openings that bring a lot of light in. It has a double bedroom and sofa bed. The private bathroom is located outside the room and can be used only by its guests.

“Casa di Nora “ b&b is located 10 minutes away (walking distance) from the train station and the local harbor.
Both public and private parking spaces are available nearby.
Formia is stragically located between Rome and Naples with good public transport connections to them.
The historical city centres of Gaeta, Minturno, Sperlonga and Terracina are just few kilometers away and can be reached by car in rispectvely 10, 15, 20 and 30 minutes. Public transports are also available to reach the amenities of those nice towns.
The ancient Spa and Thermae of Suio are well known for their curative sulphurous water and only half an hour away.
Every day ferries to Ponza and Ventotene islands go forth and back to/from Formia’s harbor.
Formia was chosen by the Roman aristocracy has a place for holiday and leisure activities and for this reason is nowadays rich of archeological ruins such as the Cisternone (the second biggest water harvest tunk), il mausoleo di Cicerone, Castellone and Mola towers, I Criptoportici and the closeby small old harbours of Gianola and Caposele.

La camera molto spaziosa e piacevole e il bagno molto carino. Silvia molto disponibile e ospitale. Posizione centrale della struttura. Molto bella anche la sala dedicata alla colazione.
Pulizia, comfort e accoglienza della proprietaria. Inoltre la colazione è molto buona e abbondante!
Fantastic accommodation in a great area of Formia. Silvia was so helpful and made our stay very enjoyable and was on hand to help with anything & everything that we needed. I would definitely recommend this B&B for anyone who wants to explore the area from a nice, central location. Pompeii, Rome, and Naples are all within easy reach by car, and there are some lovely beaches within walking distance of the apartment.
The room was clean, the Owner very nice and helpful. The apartment is located just in the city center, next to the bus stop. There are many shops and restaurants around. Overall – great place!

A cominciare dalla gentilezza di Silvia, giovane padrona di casa che ha fatto di tutto per farci sentire a nostro agio, anche consigliandoci i luoghi da visitare o spiagge attrezzate e non, o dove mangiare secondo i nostri gusti ecc.., devo dire che il soggiorno è stato ottimo. La colazione dolce con cornetti, caffè, latte, succhi di frutta, yogurt, biscotti vari e frutta fresca a volontà!
Camere spaziose e luminose, pulitissime, arredate con gusto. Bagno grande con ogni confort. Materassi e cuscini molto comodi, tutti i servizi perfetti. Silvia, sempre gentilissima e disponibile, ci ha coccolati in ogni richiesta regalandoci una piccola vacanza perfetta!
Una piacevole sorpresa! Abbiamo soggiornato in due e ne siamo rimasti felicissimi! Ottima e abbondante la colazione, servita in un salotto comune agli altri inquilini. La posizione è buona, praticamente in centro, a pochi passi c’è la piazzetta e tanti negozi per fare shopping. Insomma, ritorneremo sicuramente a trovare Silvia!
La camera è carinissima e la colazione è a dir poco spettacolare!!
Il b&b è nella via centrale dove sono i negozi e a 100 metri dal mare.

Raffinatezza ed eleganza ma al tempo stesso un’atmosfera calda e familiare!
Le camere semplici ma belle che trasmettono un senso di calma (letto comodissimo) con colori estivi circondati da tanta luce. Non posso non fare un ringraziamento speciale alle proprietarie per la loro grande cordialità ed ospitalità ci hanno davvero “viziato”. Ci siamo trovate molto bene anche per la loro simpatia. Che aggiungere andate andate!!! Super consigliato!!

Regulations
Choosing to be a guest of “Casa di Nora” b&b implies accepting the below regulations in its entirety. An hard copy can be found in each room.
We ask our guests to kindly inform us of their time of arrival by email or phone call indicating:
– approximate time of arrival. Neglecting to inform us of your arrival could cause delays. Compensation will not apply to such delay and complains are unjustified.
– the room is available from 1pm but different arrangements can be discussed with the host.
Check out is at 10:30am on the day of the departure but later check out could be arranged with the host according to her availability.
Delays in checking out will be charged with the equivalent of the room price for one night.
Cancellations before 15 days from the booking will be fully refunded.
Cancellations after 15 days from the booking will not be refunded.
Cancellations during the time fo the booking will not be refunded.
In case of earlier departure the cost of the remaining nights/days will not be refunded.
Bookings through the module on this website need to be approved by the host and they will be secured only at the payment of 30% of the booking cost by credit/debit card. The remaining payment is required in cash at the arrival.
At the time of arrival is required to show a valid ID (passport, ID card, driving license). Guests cannot be welcomed in the b&b without such.
Guests will receive both the room and building keys.
In case of loss of the keys a penalty of max 200,00 euro will be required to change the locks.
Breakfast is open from 8am to 10:30am unless differently agreed with the host.
It is not allowed to sublet the room or bring more guests than the room allows for.
During the stay, the rooms and their facilities are cleaned every day from 10.30am to 12.30pm. If guests wish to stay in their rooms during this time slot, the room will be cleaned the following day. Please arrange your personal belongings in order to allow such cleaning.
The change of bed sheets and towels is expected every change of guest and every 4 days of stay.
Use of the kitchen is not allowed.
It is forbidden to have food in the room and cook with any kind of flame and cooker. Particular needs can be discussed with the host.
It is absolutely forbidden to smoke and use alcool or drugs in the b&b facilities. Legal measures apply to breaking those rules.
However, it is possible to smoke cigarettes in the communal terrace using the available hashtrays.
Animals are not allowed unless differently agreed with the host.
It is recommended not to leave personal items in the rooms, in the hallowey and in the communal areas.
We cannot held responsible for the loss or breakage of personal items.
Damages to the b&b, if someone is held accountable, will be repaid by the guest in agreement with the host.
The guests will be charged for any missing item that is property of the b&b.
Loud noises are not allowed during the night and early afternoon (2pm to 3:30pm and 11pm to 8am).
Guests shall behave in a civil manner avoiding harassment to people and objects inside the b&b.
Water is a valuable resource, do not waste it.
